EPIC is currently working towards registering with the Department of Skills Development (DSD) as a training provider in Malaysia. To provide international recognition in technical education EPIC is also working towards accreditation by Edexcel Pearson - UK to conduct a course in Sustainable Environment BTEC qualifications. Edexcel Pearson - UK is the largest certificate awarding body in the world which has affiliated higher education institutes in more than 100 countries around the world.
To ensure quality in services delivered right from the top management level to last worker in a waste management facility EPIC is working with Chartered Institution of Wastes Management UK to establish a Chartered Institution of Wastes Management in Malaysia or Regional. The recognition would certify and qualify the waste and environmental management workforce. This will also provide a professional establishment to the industry as a future voice to the government.
